Andy
I have over 40 years experience in the finance industry and have built up a wealth of contacts and clients over that time. I worked for Barclays for over 30 years and before leaving in 2013, had worked as a commercial relationship manager. I joined JK Asset Finance in 2013 working with Ken Howlett the founder and took over the business in 2022, when Ken retired.
I am passionate about customer service and aim to make any deal as easy as possible for you. I enjoy sitting down with a client and finding out about your business and your requirements. It’s important to me that you’re happy with any solution we find for you and also that you are comfortable with the terms and conditions. In my experience, finance is a very emotive subject and whether you’re looking to borrow £5,000 or £5M, the attention to detail and service is exactly the same.
Outside of the business, I’m a lifelong Burnley FC fan, music lover and keen reader. Living in the Rossendale valley, I have beautiful countryside on my doorstep and enjoy long walks with my Welsh terrier Rafferty.

I have worked in asset finance for over 30 years, working for several large asset finance companies and then in 2019 joining JK Asset Finance Ltd to continue building direct customer relationships.
I love nothing more than helping companies expand their business by securing finance for assets or cashflow, and working together to achieve their goals but also, when times get tough, (as sometimes they do) being there to help them through more challenging times.
Most of my customers come via referrals from customers or suppliers whom I have worked with for many years. My customers work with me as though I am member of their team and I will always work hard to get the best facility for your business, taking all the stress and strain out of arranging the finance yourself and leaving you the time to run your company.
When I’m not working, I love travelling abroad and, in the UK, especially island hopping in Scotland. I have practiced yoga for over 25 years, I love modern jive and salsa dancing, cooking, walking, and spending time with my family and friends and my cat Boris.

We work with a variety of funders on your behalf. Our experience in the industry and our strong relationships and reputation with our funders, ensures we get it ‘right first time’ and on terms you are happy with.
We can assist with asset finance, cashflow and working capital finance, invoice finance and property finance.
We are proud of our reputation and the vast majority of our business is from existing clients and referrals from them. We will work with you and ensure you are happy with everything before signing up on any agreement.
